Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Scalor, operated by MITSET ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using Scalor you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use Scalor on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms. Last Updated: January 2025

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be able to form a legally binding contract
  • You must not be located in a jurisdiction where use is prohibited by law
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information

Seller Accounts

Registration: You register via Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Security: You must keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at contact@scalor.store. One entity per account: You may not share accounts or sell access to your account. Suspension: We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or remain inactive for more than 12 months after subscription expiry.

Free Trial & Subscriptions

Free Trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. No credit card required. At trial end your store is locked until you subscribe. Plans: Monthly and annual plans are available. Current pricing is at scalor.store/#pricing. Billing: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal. Cancellation: Cancel anytime from account settings. Access continues until the current billing period ends. No partial refunds for unused time. Price Changes: 30 days advance email notice will be given for any price changes.

Refund Policy

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, with no questions asked. To request a refund, contact contact@scalor.store within 14 days of your charge. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. For more details, see Paddle's refund policy at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.

Acceptable Use

You may use Scalor to sell legal products and services. You agree NOT to:

  • Sell illegal products, substances, or services
  • Sell counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or deceive buyers
  • Collect buyer data beyond what is necessary for order fulfilment
  • Send unsolicited marketing to buyers
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any party
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems

Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Your Content

Ownership: You retain all rights to content you upload (images, descriptions, store information). Licence to Us: By uploading content you grant Scalor a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display your content solely to operate the platform. Standards: You are solely responsible for your content. It must be accurate, lawful, and must not infringe third-party rights. Removal: We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

Relationship with Buyers

Scalor is a platform. We are not a party to transactions between you and your buyers. As a seller you are solely responsible for:

  • Accurately describing your products
  • Fulfilling orders in a timely manner
  • Handling refunds, exchanges, and complaints
  • Complying with consumer protection laws
  • Collecting and remitting applicable taxes
  • Protecting buyer personal data per our Privacy Policy

Scalor is not liable for any disputes between sellers and buyers.

Intellectual Property

The Scalor platform — including software, design, features, and documentation — is owned by Scalor and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform. You may not use the Scalor name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Scalor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scalor shall not be liable for loss of business, revenue, profits, or data; indirect or consequential damages; or damages arising from third-party integrations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

By You: Cancel your account at any time via account settings or by contacting support. Your subscription ends at the current period's conclusion. By Us: We may suspend or terminate immediately for Terms violations, fraud, or legal requirements. We may terminate the service with 30 days notice. After Termination: Your store goes offline. Data is retained for 30 days so you can export it. After 30 days all data is permanently deleted.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel and request a pro-rated refund for unused subscription time.
